One of our latest purchases were these Lilly Pulitzer Jeans from a local Goodwill, $3.99, which retail over $100. The fit wasn’t very flattering as pants, so we decided to make them shorts, thanks to Texas weather.
This was a simple transformation. Not much work was needed besides cutting to the length we wanted the shorts to fall. Here’s what we got!

So cute and preppy. Our local Goodwills are very proud of their stock; pants are $10 unless they are “boutique,” which these would be, and those are $20. You scored.
Thank you! The Goodwills near us have a set price for all the jeans unless they have a separate tag on them, but I guess we really got lucky! =)
They turned out awesome! I love what you did with them.
Could you make anything with the leftovers?
Thank you! Yes we made decorative pillow cases and accessories. We will post pictures of them later!
I love thrifting and DIY! Thank you for making this fashion blog! It looks really great
